What this site does not collect
There are no user accounts, newsletters, payment pages, or contact forms. The pages do not include advertising pixels, analytics tags, or social plugins. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Email you send us
If you write to [email protected], that message is the inquiry we handle. We receive the address you write from, the subject, the body, any attachments, and the time the message arrives. We use it to understand a question about these pages and to reply — for example a broken link, an unclear step, or a correction.
We do not add your address to a marketing list, and we do not copy messages into a separate database on this website. The service that delivers mail to that address processes the message so it can reach us. Please keep passwords, license keys, and private recordings out of the message.
Server logs
The provider that hosts the site may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. Those logs are used to deliver the site and to investigate abuse. Screnetik does not run an analytics product on top of them and does not use them for advertising.
Google Fonts
Every page loads two typefaces, Inter and IBM Plex Mono, from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files from Google at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. This is the only third-party request the pages make on their own. A link to another website is requested only if you follow it.
Google receives the IP address used for the font request, the font address that was requested, and ordinary HTTP headers. Those headers include a user agent describing the browser and operating system, and a referrer, which is the page you opened.Google’s Fonts documentationstates that this service does not set cookies and does not use these requests to build an advertising profile.
If your browser blocks the font request, the pages still display with fonts already available on your computer.
Cookies
These pages do not set cookies. The Cookie Policy describes that separately from the font request above.
Links to other sites
Guides link to developer sites and to Apple’s documentation. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We do not control them.
Children
The site is written for a general audience learning software. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If the site adds a form, an analytics tool, or another practice covered here, this page will be updated first. The date at the top is the last revision.
